Role & responsibilities

The Food Technologist will work in office in the manufacturing unit in Ramanathapuram in a full time capacity, supporting end-to-end product development and quality assurance activities. Daily responsibilities include conducting laboratory tests, performing sensory evaluations, and contributing to research and development of recent and improved food products. The role involves monitoring production processes, implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. The Food Technologist will document test results, maintain lab records, collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues, and provide practical recommendations to enhance product stability, shelf life, and consumer acceptability.

Preferred candidate profile

(Enthusiastic freshers can also apply) Candidates should possess strong Food Technology knowledge and experience with food production processes. Candidates should possess Sensory Evaluation skills to assess flavor,



texture, appearance, and overall product acceptability. Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, testing protocols, and data recording. Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor standards, identify deviations, and support corrective actions. Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills to assist in developing new formulations and improving existing products. Relevant degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline. Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and positive manufacturing practices (GMP). Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
