Role & responsibilities
Procurement Planning & Material Availability:
Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, bought-out components, production materials, and factory consumables in line with production schedules, inventory targets, and customer requirements.
Supplier Management & Development:
Manage relationships with 300 to 400 suppliers, monitor quality, delivery, cost and responsiveness, and drive supplier improvement and corrective actions.
Cost Management & Negotiation:
Lead commercial negotiations, rate agreements and annual contracts while delivering cost savings, cost avoidance, and competitive sourcing aligned with market trends.
Process Excellence & Digitalisation:
Improve procurement processes through ERP accuracy, dashboards, analytics, automation,
and standardised sourcing practices to strengthen procurement visibility and efficiency.
Team Leadership & Governance:
Lead and develop the procurement team, establish performance objectives, promote accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethics, and applicable regulations.
Preferred candidate profile:
Education Required: B.E/B.tech in Mechanical with preference of Masters.
Experience Required: 12 to 15 Years of relevant Experience in Factory Procurement on leadership Profile.
Onboarding procurement: Process training on SAP HANA S4 system training preferable.
