Role & responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
Release and monitor production work orders in coordination with manufacturing departments.
Plan and schedule machining, assembly, testing, painting, and dispatch activities.
Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out items, and consumables.
Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks affecting delivery schedules.
Follow up with production teams to ensure adherence to the production plan.
Maintain production planning records and update ERP systems with production status.
Coordinate with the Quality department to ensure timely inspection and clearance of finished products.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and optimise inventory levels.
Prepare production reports, capacity utilisation reports, and order status reports for management review.
Coordinate with the Sales and Dispatch departments to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
Assist in capacity planning,



resource allocation, and production optimisation initiatives.
Analyse production variances and recommend corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
Strong knowledge of Production Planning and Control (PPC) in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).
Good understanding of production scheduling, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), capacity planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Knowledge of machining, assembly, testing, and valve manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Positive communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
