Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records for our textile showroom.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.
Handle sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries.
Manage cash and bank transactions.
Prepare and maintain cash vouchers and supporting documents.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Verify daily sales and cash collections.
Handle supplier and customer ledger reconciliation.
Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
Maintain proper filing of invoices, bills and accounting documents.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounting reports.
Coordinate with auditors, suppliers and internal departments when required.




Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting activities.

Requirements
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Experience in retail, textile or showroom accounting will be an advantage.
Good working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Good knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles.
Experience in bank, cash and ledger reconciliation.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
