We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented accounts & tax intern for a 6-month internship under a chartered accountant. The candidate will gain practical exposure in accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
Assist in preparing and filing GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
Prepare and file income tax returns (ITR)
Calculate TDS, file returns, and perform reconciliations
Maintain bookkeeping records and pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP
Perform bank reconciliations and scrutinize ledgers
Support statutory and internal audit processes
Prepare financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss
Reconcile GST 2B with books of accounts
Draft responses to income tax and GST notices
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance records are updated
