Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist will operate and maintain CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and work orders. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up machines, selecting and installing appropriate tools, loading materials, monitoring operations, and adjusting machine parameters to ensure dimensional accuracy.
The role also includes inspecting finished parts, performing basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and documenting production and quality records.
The CNC Machinist will collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production schedules and safety standards. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ghazipur.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in machine operation and machinery handling, including safe setup, tool changes, and routine maintenance.
Candidates should possess skills in machining and milling, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and use appropriate cutting tools.
Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including the use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and adherence to tolerance requirements.
Relevant technical training or certification in CNC machining, mechanical, or manufacturing disciplines is beneficial.
Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing workplace and familiarity with safety protocols is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Ghazipur, follow instructions accurately, and collaborate effectively with production and quality teams.
