Job Summary The Electrical HOD Furnace will oversee all electrical operations related to furnace systems in the Steel Melting Shop. The role focuses on ensuring electrical reliability, statutory compliance, safety standards, and energy efficiency across furnace operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical maintenance and operational activities for furnace systems.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety guidelines, and electrical standards.
Plan and execute automation, modernization, and system improvement projects.
Manage electrical teams, contractors, and external service providers.
Support energy optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering.
Robust experience in furnace electrical systems in steel plants.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
