Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise daily machine shop operations.
Ensure production schedules are achieved within quality and delivery timelines.
Manage CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning Centers, and conventional machining operations.
Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Implement and maintain quality standards and process controls.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Purchase departments.
Train, mentor, and evaluate machine shop operators and supervisors.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime.
Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Control production costs by reducing scrap, rework, and machine downtime.




Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.
Prepare production reports, manpower planning, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
815 years of experience in a machine shop, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
Solid knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning.
Valuable leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
