Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer (.NET) to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise-grade applications for the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C#, .NET , software architecture, and engineering best practices, along with proven experience delivering solutions for Tier 1 or Tier 2 banking organizations .

This role requires a solid technical leader who can drive architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, establish development standards, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using C# and .NET .
Define application architecture and drive technical strategy for large-scale banking platforms.
Apply SOLID principles , Design Patterns , and clean coding practices to build maintainable software.




Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code quality initiatives.
Mentor and guide development teams on engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and enterprise development practices.
Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, automation, and engineering governance.

Required Skills
13+ years of software development experience.
Strong expertise in C# and Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 6+ .
In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Robust understanding and practical implementation of SOLID Principles .
Extensive experience with Design Patterns and enterprise application architecture.
Experience designing distributed, scalable, and resilient systems.
Solid debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
