Role Overview The Sourcing / Procurement Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating cost-effective deals, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and maintaining optimum inventory levels. This role demands strong market research skills, vendor management abilities, and a keen eye for quality and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Scouting & Research
Identify and research recent products as per business requirements.
Search, evaluate, and shortlist current vendors through online and offline channels.
Vendor Management
Conduct price negotiations, finalize orders, and secure favorable terms.
Maintain solid relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term business continuity.
Procurement & Inventory
Perform regular inventory checks and ensure timely re-ordering of materials.
Monitor stock levels to support cost and inventory optimization.
Quality & Delivery Assurance
Ensure timely delivery of goods as per order terms.
Oversee quality checks, GRN preparation,
and manage material return processes for discrepancies.
Cost Optimization & Compliance
Continuously evaluate vendors for pricing, quality, and service efficiency.
Work towards reducing procurement costs without compromising quality.
Operational Support
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, accounts) for smooth procurement flow.
Handle other procurement-related support tasks as required.
Skills & Requirements
Robust negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of China & India sourcing
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory tools
Ability to multitask and work in a quick-paced environment
Detail-oriented with robust analytical skills
Experience in sourcing (online & offline)
Knowledge of GRN, QC, and return processes
