Position: Procurement Specialist / Procurement Engineer – Program Management

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement qualified with Power Plant experience and good knowledge of Program/Project Management. The candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, vendor coordination, commercial negotiations and ensuring timely availability of materials/services in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for power plant projects.
Identify, evaluate and develop suitable suppliers/vendors.
Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and evaluate quotations.
Conduct commercial comparison and support price/contract negotiations.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery commitments.
Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Stores and other departments.




Track procurement schedules and highlight potential delays.
Support project/program planning and execution.
Maintain procurement reports, vendor records and order status.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and timely procurement.
Resolve vendor-related issues and support project teams.

Candidate Requirements
5–7 years of relevant experience.
Mandatory experience in Power Plant / Power Generation industry.
Strong experience in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain.
Good knowledge of Program/Project Management.
Positive vendor management and negotiation skills.
Experience in RFQ, quotation evaluation, PO and expediting.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and preferably SAP/ERP.
Fluent English communication is mandatory.
Engineering / Supply Chain / Procurement / Business-related qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
