Job Specification:

Educational Qualification: B.Sc Nursing or GNM with valid nursing council registration.

Technical Skills: OT preparation and sterile field maintenance, Surgical instrument handling, Infection control and sterilization techniques, Surgical counting procedures, Emergency response handling.

Experience: 1–3 years of OT/Surgical experience preferred.

Personal Attributes: Compassionate, skilled, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.

Prepare operation theatre for surgical procedures.
Arrange and maintain sterile surgical instruments and supplies.
Assist surgeons during surgeries by providing required instruments and materials.
Maintain strict aseptic and infection control practices.
Perform surgical counts for instruments, needles,



and sponges before and after procedures.
Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment.
Coordinate with circulating nurses and OT technicians.
Monitor availability of OT consumables and supplies.
Handle specimens properly and send them for laboratory analysis when required.
Ensure proper documentation related to surgical procedures.
Assist in cleaning and preparation of OT after procedures.
Follow NABH protocols and hospital safety standards.
Participate in emergency and trauma surgeries whenever required.
