Perform final proofreading and quality checks on edited and paginated documents before delivery.
Review documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency.
Verify adherence to client specifications, editorial guidelines, and style manuals.
Check page layout, fonts, spacing, headings, tables, figures, equations, and references for accuracy.
Ensure all author/editor corrections have been incorporated correctly.
Identify and report quality issues, inconsistencies, and production errors.
Verify cross-references, citations, hyperlinks, numbering, and table of contents.
Ensure documents are complete, error-free, and publication-ready.
Collaborate with editors, paginators, and project managers to resolve quality-related queries.
Ability to identify language, formatting, and production errors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat/PDF review tools, and Microsoft Office.
