Granulation Expert is expected to Initiate, Propose and Execute research and development, Debottlenecking/Revamp, and current product development programs directed towards the improvement of processes and introduction of recent products. Lead in-house recent process technology development, scale-up & implementations in commercial granulation. Provide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed.
Provide trouble-shooting & root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. The technologist is also expected to provide support in Growth Projects
Responsibilities:
Provide trouble-shooting & Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants
Steering various new post-reactor product developments through Granulation Techniques
Participate in in-house new process technology development,
scale-up & implementations in commercial plants
Effectively Engage and Lead Feasibility studies & Revamp studies and support to run the granulators effectively at plant scale and at semi-commercial scales
Independently Review Engineering Documents & Steer
Design and supervise pilot plant experimental runs for the assigned tasks including preliminary reviews, data interpretation and final reporting
Collect and interpret plant process data and make recommendations for improvements and ensure work is standardized and processes are optimized.
Must-Haves:
A Master's degree from a recognized and approved program, Ph.D. is preferred
15+ years experience as a Scientist/Engineer specializing in Technology Development, Plant Support, Modeling and Optimization (10+ years if they have a PhD)
Urea Granulation experience
