Track inventory levels of staple mill consumables like spinning oils, traveler rings, aprons, cots, and general hardware.
Reorder stock ahead of time by notifying the purchase department when supplies run low.
Issuance and Production Coordination
Issue raw cotton mixing lots and materials based on authorized production requisitions.
Supply maintenance teams with mechanical and electrical spare parts promptly to reduce machinery downtime.
Hand over finished yarn packages and cones to the packing and dispatch departments.
Record Keeping and Auditing
Update inward and outward movement logs in computerized software or ERP systems.
Maintain bin cards and physical stock registers up to date.
Perform routine physical cycle counts and reconcile variances with system data.
Safety and Housekeeping
Enforce strict fire safety protocols inside cotton godowns and chemical storage areas.
Keep storage aisles clean, transparent, and well-organized to prevent workplace accidents.
Supervise loading, unloading, and stacking staff daily.
