About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and certified Abacus Teacher to provide personalized 1:1 live online coaching to students
The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching abacus with a focus on tailoring lessons to individual student needs
This role requires creating engaging content, designing customized learning plans, and fostering a supportive online learning workplace
Key Responsibilities
Conduct live online abacus classes for students across multiple levels as per our curriculum.
Deliver live, interactive online sessions using agile teaching methods to engage students.
Track every student's progress, identify weak areas, and design targeted practice plans.
Assign, evaluate, and provide detailed feedback on homework and worksheets after each session
Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure academic growth
Maintain organized records of student performance, feedback, and lesson plans
Foster confidence and critical thinking in students through constructive mentorship
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of full-time Abacus teaching experience
Fluency in written and verbal English
Vedic Math Certification and classes will be an add-on
Strong ability to assess student performance and provide actionable feedback
Prior experience teaching international students (preferred) Technical Requirements
High-speed broadband internet (minimum 50 Mbps speed)
HD webcam and noise-canceling microphone for clear communication
Dedicated workstation with a qualified, distraction-free background (neutral setting, no clutter)
Pentab (writing tablet) for real-time annotations and interactive lessons
