Designation: Manager / Sr. Manager – Liaisoning
Experience: 10 to 20 years in real estate/infrastructure liaisoning
Location: West Bengal (with heavy focus on Kolkata and surrounding areas)
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Approvals & Sanctions
End-to-end management of Building Plan Sanctions from initial submission to final approval.
Procure critical clearances including Fire NOC, Environmental Clearances, and utility approvals for water, sewerage, and electricity.
Handle Land Conversion ($Agricultural rightarrow Commercial/Residential$) and Mutation processes efficiently.
Government & Stakeholder Liaisoning
Maintain solid, proactive relationships with local municipal corporation bodies including KMC, NKDA, and HIDCO.
Ensure full compliance and manage registrations/grievances with HIRA / WBRERA.
Coordinate extensively with the Registration & Revenue Departments and BL&LRO; offices.
Legal & Land Documentation
Oversee land records verification, title coordination, and legal documentation to ensure risk-free project execution.
Represent the company in discussions with government stakeholders to resolve any regulatory bottlenecks or disputes.
Core Competencies
Local Body Expertise:
Deep operational familiarity with KMC, NKDA, HIDCO, and WBRERA.
Procedural Mastery: Hands-on experience dealing with BL&LRO; offices, land mutation, conversion, and revenue departments.
Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of building bylaws, fire safety norms, and environmental compliance frameworks.
Relationship Management: Exceptional networking skills with a proven track record of managing government stakeholders.
Preferred Background & Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who fit at least one of the following profiles:
Ex-Government Official from relevant municipal or land revenue departments.
Architect / Urban Planner with extensive practical experience in driving real estate approvals.
Senior Liaisoning Consultant currently working with or advising reputed real estate developers.
Legal Qualified specializing explicitly in real estate approvals and land title clearance.
