- TX Transmission Operator/Engineer A technical role that requires a solid understanding of broadcast operations, the ability to communicate well, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Assembly Operator A role that involves preparing finished parts for material handling, and requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to push, pull, and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Public Works Operator A role that involves a variety of tasks related to maintenance, support, and mechanical service for water, wastewater, streets, drainage, and parks.
- Disposal Well Operator A role that involves maintaining tank levels, tracking pressures, tracking consumable usages, keeping daily logs, and maintaining a clean working environment.

Other types of operator jobs include: IT Systems Operator, Data Entry Operator, and Computer Operator.
