You will be a key team member of a client facing consulting teamresearchingthe economic dynamics oflow carbon and renewable transportation fuels. This role is primarily focused on North American marketsbutinclude research on policies andmarketdevelopments throughout the world.You willassistyour team in developing and improving price forecasts for theCalifornia Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS),the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), the Canada Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR)and otheremergingcompliancemarkets.Your knowledge andexpertiseconcerningestablished fuels likerenewable natural gasand renewable diesel as well asnext-generationbiofuels likesustainable aviationfuelandhydrogenwill grow as you incorporate your research and quantitative analysis intothorough market reports.Your purpose in this researchwill be to support investors, developers,governmentagenciesand non-profitorganizationsdevelop, construct, andmaintainenergy assets, andimplement programs for todayandthe future.

To support our growth, we seek aLow Carbon Fuel Economic Analystto work in ourTechnical Advisoryline of business. The consultant willconduct market research, supportforecast modeldevelopmentand write market reports in a collaborative team setting.Team members at ICF have an opportunity to apply their experience and academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts and clients in the field,



while building content knowledge and consultingskills. Team membersadvance in our consulting practicetypicallydevelop an area of special competence, with increasing responsibility for project management, modeling subject matterexpertise,and client contact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop andmaintaineconomic forecast models in the North Americanlow carbon and renewable transportation fuel industry, particularly in the Renewable FuelStandard, California Low Carbon FuelStandardand the Canada Clean Fuel Regulations.

- Stay up todateonandanalyze the economic implications of various regulatory developments at the state,provincialand federal levels.

- Conduct thorough research on various segments of the biofuel industry

- Authorinsightfulandaccuratemarket reportson thebiofuel and low carbon fuel industry.

- Collaborate withnumerousteams throughout ICF togatherhighestqualityexpertiseforclient needs.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor'sDegree inEconomics,Business,EnvironmentalPolicy,Environmental Sciencesorrelated disciplines and2+ years of relevant energy industry experience orMaster'sdegreeplus 1 year of industry and or internship experience

- Experience programming in, Python, Stata,Matlab,VBAor willingness tolearn

- Close attention todetail

- Ability to work collaboratively with a remote team

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Advanced degree inEconomics, Environmental Policy,Environmental Sciences,

- Biofueland/orlow carbon transportation fuelmarketexperience

- Understanding of agriculture and other feedstock markets a plus

- Experience programming in R, Python,Matlab,



or VBA

- Previousconsulting experience

- Strong modeling skills
