Job Title: Interventional Cardiology Specialist / Product Specialist – Interventional Cardiology

Department: Sales & Marketing

Territory: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana with Hyderabad as base location

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Business Head

Job Purpose

The Interventional Cardiology Specialist will be responsible for driving sales, promoting products, and providing clinical support for the company's interventional cardiology portfolio. The role requires strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization laboratory (Cath Lab) procedures, interventional cardiology devices, and the ability to build strong relationships with cardiologists, Cath Lab teams, and hospital stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Achieve assigned sales targets for the interventional cardiology product portfolio.
- Develop and manage relationships with interventional cardiologists, Cath Lab staff, procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
- Identify recent business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with healthcare professionals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Clinical & Technical Support

- Provide clinical support during interventional cardiology procedures in the Cath Lab, as required.
- Assist physicians and Cath Lab teams with the appropriate use of products.
- Conduct product training sessions for doctors, nurses, and technicians.
- Ensure customers are updated on new products, technologies,



and clinical applications.

Product Portfolio

The candidate should have knowledge or experience in products such as:

- Coronary guidewires
- Drug eluting stents
- Drug coated balloons
- PTCa balloons
- Intervention cardiooy accessories
- Balloon catheters
- Coronary stents
- Guiding catheters
- Diagnostic catheters
- Introducer sheaths
- Hemostasis devices
- Other interventional cardiology consumables and accessories

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates with clinical or medical device sales experience.

Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in Interventional Cardiology, Cath Lab, Cardiology, or Cardiovascular devices .
- Experience working with cardiologists and Cath Labs will be highly preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of interventional cardiology procedures and products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to provide clinical and technical support in a hospital environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in intervention cardiology and good connect with Intervention cardiologists and Cath technicians
- Candidates currently working with medical device companies handling interventional cardiology or cardiovascular product portfolios.
- Experience with hospitals, cardiac centres, and Cath Labs in the assigned region.
