Job Description : A senior developer with 10-14 years of professional experience in the analysis, architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade internet/intranet applications. Proven expertise in building secure, scalable, and high-performance web-based systems, with a track record of leading complex portal and integration projects end to end. This role covers all backend development and requires strong Java skills, with additional web development skills such as REST, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS considered a strong asset. The ideal candidate brings deep infrastructure DevOps, and cloud exposure alongside hands-on coding ability, and is comfortable mentoring junior engineers and driving technical decisions.Notice Period : Immediate to 30 daysKey Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise web applications.- Lead backend development for complex portal, web application, and integration projects from architecture through deployment.- Develop enterprise applications using Java and design robust, maintainable application architectures.- Design and develop RESTful web services and enterprise-level login/security portlets.- Integrate relational databases with enterprise applications and ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity.- Work extensively with HCL Digital Experience (HCL DX), IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and IBM Server (IHS).- Manage and optimize enterprise web platforms covering clustering, security, SSL, load balancing,



and performance tuning.- Contribute to infrastructure and DevOps activities using Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/Red Hat OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.- Support cloud and hybrid deployments using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with strong hands-on exposure to AWS preferred/required.- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize applications to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance at scale.- Drive technical decisions, conduct code/design reviews, and establish development best practices.- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building strong technical capabilities within the team.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and business stakeholders.Key Skills and Experience : - Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on architecture and development of enterprise web applications.- Proficient in developing RESTful web services and Login/Security portlets for enterprise-level systems. - Solid proficiency in the integration of relational databases into applications.- Strong expertise in HCL Digital Experience (HCL DX), IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and IBM Server (IHS).- Experience with clustering, security, SSL, load balancing, and performance tuning of enterprise web platforms.- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/Red Hat OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.- Exposure to Azure, AWS (must), or Google Cloud Platform for cloud-hosted or hybrid deployments.
