Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with solid experience in National Highway (NH) and Railway projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, billing, cost control, measurements, BOQ preparation, and coordination with project/site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity estimates, and rate analysis for NH and Railway works.
- Conduct site measurements and verify quantities executed at site.
- Prepare RA Bills, client bills, subcontractor bills, and measurement sheets.
- Check quantities against approved drawings, BOQ, and contract specifications.
- Monitor project quantities, material consumption, and cost variations.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation and cost reports.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, and Accounts teams.
- Review drawings and identify quantity variations and additional works.
- Assist in preparation of variation statements,



extra items, and deviation statements.
- Maintain proper documentation of measurements, bills, BOQs, and supporting documents.
- Ensure billing is completed accurately and within project timelines.
- Support project teams in cost control and commercial management.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Billing.
- Experience in National Highway and Railway infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of BOQ, Rate Analysis, RA Bills, MB, Quantity Reconciliation and Variations.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
