NPS is a voluntary, defined contribution retirement scheme regulated by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), offering long-term savings solutions to individuals.

Role Description The Zonal Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, responsible for leading and expanding the pension business across the designated zone.

The Zonal

Head will oversee sales and distribution activities, drive acquisition of NPS subscribers, and ensure achievement of business targets. The role involves supporting existing clients as well as acquiring new clients and guide them with product knowledge and service resolution.

Head will collaborate closely to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in sales leadership, business development,



and distribution management.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, including handling corporate clients, government bodies, distribution partners, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated skills in team management, and talent development across multiple locations.
- Ability to analyze market data, prepare business plans, and deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the organization in external forums.
- Robust organizational and time-management capabilities, with a focus on results, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Prior experience in a zonal or regional leadership role and readiness to travel within the zone is preferable (3-5 years experience in leading teams).
