About the Role – Wound Care Specialist The Wound Care Specialist will be responsible for the assessment, management, monitoring, and application of appropriate dressings for patients with acute and chronic wounds , while ensuring proper wound-care practices

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and monitor healing progress
- Develop and implement appropriate wound-care and dressing plans in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Recommend suitable advanced wound-care products and therapies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient treatment records
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, prevention, and self-management




- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide clinical feedback on product performance and patient outcomes
- Support clinical training, demonstrations, and educational sessions
- Stay updated with evidence-based practices and advancements in wound care
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DMP’s wound-care solutions and clinical initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant clinical qualification such as MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or an allied health qualification , with valid registration/licensure where applicable

• Experience in wound care, surgical care, critical care, diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, or medical devices will be an advantage

- Sound knowledge of wound assessment, infection prevention, dressing techniques, and clinical care practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach
- Ability to communicate clinical information and treatment plans clearly to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals

• Ability to maintain high standards of infection control, quality, and patient safety

- Comfortable working in a dynamic clinical environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing professional development in advanced wound care
