Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically oriented Workshop Supervisor / Trainee to manage day-to-day workshop operations, ensure timely vehicle servicing and repairs, maintain service quality, and support technicians in achieving productivity and customer satisfaction targets.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating technicians, monitoring job cards, ensuring proper diagnosis and repair, controlling workshop processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily workshop operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Allocate job cards to technicians according to workload and skill level.
- Monitor vehicle servicing, repair and delivery timelines.
- Check job cards for proper diagnosis, labour entries, parts requirements and job completion.
- Guide and support technicians in technical and repair-related issues.
- Ensure proper usage of genuine spare parts, lubricants and workshop equipment.
- Monitor technician productivity and labour performance against assigned targets.
- Ensure quality checks are completed before vehicle delivery.
- Coordinate with the Service Advisor,



Parts Department and Workshop Manager for smooth job execution.
- Handle technical/customer-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor repeat repairs, pending jobs and delayed vehicles.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety standards and discipline within the workshop.
- Monitor workshop tools and equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of job cards in the DMS.
- Support customer satisfaction and NPS improvement initiatives.
- Monitor workshop performance indicators such as labour sales, vehicle retention, productivity, job card closure and customer complaints.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly workshop performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to Yamaha service processes, SOPs and dealership guidelines.

- Workshop/Supervisor experience: 1–3 years preferred.
