Role Description This is a full-time, on-site WordPress Developer role based in Mumbai. The WordPress Developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins to support a variety of client projects.

Daily responsibilities include translating design mockups into responsive, high-performance websites, implementing front-end and back-end functionality, and ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and digital marketing teams to implement features,



optimize site speed and SEO, and troubleshoot technical issues. The developer will also be expected to maintain high coding standards, follow best practices in security and performance, and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Web Development skills, including experience with WordPress setup, configuration, theme and plugin integration.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and converting UI/UX designs into interactive web interfaces.
- Candidates should possess Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills to create visually consistent layouts that adapt across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP, MySQL, and WordPress customizations (custom post types, hooks, and APIs).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and cross-browser compatibility troubleshooting.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, site performance optimization, and basic security hardening for WordPress sites.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an in office team environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a digital agency environment or with client-facing projects is an advantage.
