Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an in-house Web Developer to manage, enhance, and scale our website. The role involves custom development, e-commerce setup, and SEO optimization, ensuring the website becomes a robust lead generation and potential sales platform.

Location - Borivali East

Notice Period - Immediate to 15 Days

Key Responsibilities

1. Web Development

- Manage and maintain WordPress website
- Customize themes and plugins (no heavy reliance on pre-built hacks)
- Build responsive, high-performance pages
- Develop custom templates where required
- Manage WooCommerce Store

2. SEO & Performance Optimization

- Implement technical SEO:
- Meta tags, schema, structured data

- URL optimization

- Improve Core Web Vitals

- Page speed optimization
- Image compression, caching, lazy loading
- Optimize website architecture for search engines and GPT Models
- Work with content team for blog and landing page SEO

3. Conversion Optimization

- Improve lead capture forms and checkout funnels
- Optimize landing pages for higher conversions

- Implement tracking

- Google Analytics
- Conversion tracking (forms, purchases)

Security & Maintenance

- Regular plugin/theme updates
- Secure WordPress installation
- Backup and recovery management
- Prevent vulnerabilities (malware, brute force, etc.)

Requirements

Required Skills

Core

- Strong experience in WordPress development

- Proficiency in

- PHP
- HTML, CSS

- JavaScript

SEO

- Technical SEO knowledge

- Experience with tools like

- Google Search Console

- Google Analytics

- Ahrefs / SEMrush (preferred)

Performance

- Website speed optimization
- Caching, CDN, and hosting optimization

Good to Have

- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery)
- Familiarity with hosting environments
- Basic UI/UX understanding
- Experience with B2B or IT services websites

Experience

- 2 to 5 years relevant experience
- Proven work on WordPress + WooCommerce projects
