Job Overview

Urbanroof Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Waterproofing Expert Engineer to manage, inspect, and supervise waterproofing projects for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of waterproofing systems, leakage diagnosis, site supervision, material selection, and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring waterproofing work is completed according to project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect sites and identify the causes of water leakage, dampness, seepage, and structural moisture problems.
- Recommend suitable waterproofing solutions based on site conditions.
- Prepare waterproofing work plans, material requirements, and technical recommendations.
- Supervise waterproofing teams and contractors at project sites.
- Monitor application of waterproofing systems such as:
- Terrace and roof waterproofing
- Bathroom and toilet waterproofing
- Basement waterproofing
- Water tank waterproofing
- External wall waterproofing
- Crack treatment and leakage repair
- PU, acrylic, cementitious and membrane-based waterproofing
- Ensure proper surface preparation and application procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks before, during, and after waterproofing work.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, technicians, and project teams.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective action is completed.
- Maintain project reports, site inspection records, photographs, and material records.




- Provide technical guidance and training to waterproofing technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in estimating material quantities, manpower, and project requirements.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 2–5+ years of experience in waterproofing, civil construction, building maintenance, or related work.
- Strong practical knowledge of waterproofing materials and application techniques.
- Ability to diagnose leakage and seepage problems effectively.
- Good site supervision and team-management skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and contractors.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered for suitable roles.
