: RM Warehouse & Logistics Executive
Location: Hyderabad, Cherlapalli
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Raw Material (RM) warehouse, including receipt, storage, identification, and issue of materials.
- Ensure timely receipt of raw materials from suppliers and verify materials against purchase orders, delivery documents, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Quality, Production, and SCM teams to ensure smooth material flow and uninterrupted production.
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, stock transfers, and inventory balances in the ERP system.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, identification, and preservation of raw materials as per company standards and safety requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability to support production requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts, and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles, wherever applicable, to ensure proper material rotation and minimize material ageing or deterioration.
- Monitor material movement within the warehouse and ensure proper documentation for all inward and outward transactions.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, 5S, housekeeping, and material-handling practices.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for timely movement of materials to and from the manufacturing plant.
- Prepare and maintain warehouse reports related to stock levels, material movement, inventory accuracy, and pending receipts/issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse space utilization, inventory accuracy, material handling, and overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper handling of rejected, damaged, excess,
and obsolete materials in coordination with the concerned departments.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate inventory records and required documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines related to warehouse and logistics operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidates should have 3–4 years of relevant experience in Raw Material Warehouse and Logistics operations, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Candidates should hold a Diploma or Graduate qualification in any relevant discipline.
- Candidates should have practical knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, material handling, and logistics operations.
- ERP knowledge is preferred, with experience in warehouse or inventory-related transactions being an advantage.
- Candidates should have good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with SCM, Purchase, Quality, Production, and Logistics teams.
- Candidates should have valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in inventory management and material discrepancies.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment and following safety and operational procedures.
