- Job Title: Graphic Designer, Typesetter & Pre-Press Specialist We are looking for a detail-oriented Graphic Designer and Typesetter with a strong technical background in print production. In this role, you won't just be creating beautiful visuals; you will be the bridge between creative concepts and physical reality. You must possess a sharp command of English spelling and grammar, along with expert typesetting skills to ensure every document is immaculate.

You must be an expert in the "technicality" of designensuring that every file, regardless of its origin, is perfectly prepared for the printing press.

Key Responsibilities

Typesetting & Typography: Format text-heavy documents, manuals, and layouts with an impeccable eye for font hierarchy, spacing, kerning, and readability. Ensure zero typographical errors.

Creative Design: Conceptualize and produce high-quality visual assets using the Adobe Creative Suite and CorelDraw.

Print-Ready Production: Take raw design files and convert them into flawless, industry-standard formats (PSD, PDF, CDR, AI).

Technical Optimization: Adjust files for qualified printing by managing crop marks, bleeds, slug areas, color profiles (CMYK), and image resolution.

Cross-Platform Translation: Seamlessly handle files provided by other designers, converting them between formats while maintaining design integrity and technical accuracy.

Brand Stewardship: Maintain strict brand consistency across various mediums and ensure all materials meet quality standards.





Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet the specific technical requirements of our print partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Command of English Language: Outstanding command of English spelling, grammar, proofreading, and language mechanics.

InDesign Mastery: Expert-level mastery of Adobe InDesign for complex multi-page layouts, paragraph/character styles, master pages, and pagination.

Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

Pre-Press Expertise: Deep understanding of the printing process, including file imposition, color separation, font embedding, and paper types.

Technical Problem Solving: Ability to take "messy" or non-standard design files and fix them for production without losing quality.

Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for alignment, typography, text reflow, and vectorizing elements to ensure zero errors on the final print run.

Experience: Hands-on experience in a print-heavy environment, publishing house, or production facility is highly preferred.
