About the Role

We are looking for qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) Freshers to join our Advisory and Audit Team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure across a wide range of audit, risk advisory, compliance, and business advisory assignments involving clients from different industries.

The candidate will work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in understanding business processes, evaluating financial and internal controls, performing audit procedures, preparing audit documentation, and supporting clients in addressing accounting, compliance, and business-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in conducting Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Internal Audits, and other assurance assignments in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and professional requirements.
- Perform audit procedures including verification of financial information, supporting documents, account balances, transactions, and related disclosures.
- Support the team in risk assessment and evaluation of internal controls, including identifying control gaps and areas of potential risk.
- Assist in compliance reviews and testing to assess adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and established processes.
- Prepare and maintain audit working papers, schedules, supporting documentation, and audit files in accordance with the required quality standards.
- Assist in preparing audit findings, observations, management reports, and draft deliverables for review by senior team members.
- Participate in business advisory assignments, including process reviews, process improvement initiatives, due diligence, and other client-specific advisory engagements.
- Assist in analysing financial and operational information to identify trends, discrepancies, risks,



and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop an understanding of client businesses, processes, accounting systems, and industry-specific requirements while working on assignments.
- Stay updated on Ind AS, IFRS, accounting standards, auditing standards, tax regulations, and other relevant regulatory developments impacting clients.
- Coordinate with internal team members and communicate with clients to obtain required information and clarify queries relating to assignments.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of work within defined timelines and quality standards.
- Contribute to improving audit and advisory processes, working methodologies, and documentation practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong academic background with a good understanding of accounting principles, auditing concepts, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Good understanding of audit methodology and internal control concepts.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyse financial and non-financial information and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with audit tools or accounting software will be an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong willingness to learn and take up responsibilities across different audit and advisory assignments.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within defined deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for client assignments, whenever required.
