About Us:

At Midknightstudio Private Limited, we are expanding our digital footprint across multiple YouTube channels. We create engaging, high-quality content across a variety of niches, and we're looking for a creative and quick-paced Video Editor & Videographer to join our growing team at our Baner office. If you know how to frame a great shot and understand the anatomy of a viral video in the edit, we want to work with you!

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated, on-site creative who is just as comfortable behind the camera as they are at the editing desk. You will handle both the production and post-production for several of our channels. This means you will set up and shoot videos in the office, and then take that raw footage and craft it into perfectly paced, visually engaging content optimized for maximum audience retention.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shoot high-quality video content in-office, handling camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording.
- Edit raw footage into highly engaging, polished videos tailored for multiple YouTube channels.
- Master the "hook"—editing the first 30 seconds to maximize viewer retention.
- Add dynamic B-roll, text animations, sound effects, and motion graphics to elevate the storytelling.
- Color correct and mix audio to ensure high-quality production standards.
- Collaborate on ideas for thumbnails and video titles.
- Repurpose long-form content into engaging YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikToks.




- Work collaboratively with our team in the Baner office to brainstorm and execute content strategies.

Requirements:

- Freshers are welcome! Whether you have formal experience or are self-taught, you must have a strong portfolio or showreel of YouTube-style content (personal projects count!).
- Hands-on knowledge of operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, setting up lighting, and capturing crisp audio.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects (After Effects is a huge plus).
- Deep understanding of YouTube culture, trends, pacing, and what makes content engaging.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site office environment and collaborate face-to-face with the team.
- Strong communication skills and a receptive attitude toward feedback and revisions.

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Experience in thumbnail design (Photoshop).
- A background in managing or growing your own YouTube channel.
- An interest in or experience shooting/editing for gaming, tech, or educational niches.
