Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at PPStack.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling video content for educational modules, marketing campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling across PPStack’s digital platforms. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, creating smooth narrative flows, applying transitions, sound syncing, and basic audio clean-up. The role also involves color grading, adding graphics or motion elements, and collaborating with instructional designers, marketers, and subject-matter experts to ensure videos align with learning objectives and brand guidelines.

Editor will manage file organization, version control, and delivery of final assets in appropriate formats and resolutions, while meeting timelines and maintaining consistent quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills, with experience using industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Candidates should possess Video Production skills, including basic understanding of camera formats, frame rates, file management, and workflow from pre-production to final delivery.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to enhance visual consistency, mood, and clarity across different types of content.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for creating titles, lower thirds, visual overlays, and simple animations (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Illustrator).
- Relevant skills and qualifications include attention to detail, strong storytelling abilities, familiarity with social media and e-learning content formats, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Prior experience in EdTech, education, or content for AI and technology topics is a plus, along with a portfolio showcasing video projects.
- A degree or certification in Film, Media, Design, Communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory if supported by strong practical experience.
