Role Description The Video Editor Intern role is a volunteer, remote position supporting SNNEH Foundation’s communication and outreach efforts. The intern will edit video content for social media, campaigns, and program documentation, including cutting footage, adding transitions, and integrating audio. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw video assets, assembling storylines, adding basic motion graphics or titles,



and performing color adjustments to maintain visual consistency with the foundation’s brand.

The role may also involve collaborating with program teams to translate impact stories into engaging visual content and adapting videos for different platforms and formats. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in video production while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

Ability to handle core video production tasks, including planning, organizing, and assembling footage (Video Production).

Strong skills in cutting, sequencing, and polishing video content for various digital platforms (Video Editing).

Competence in enhancing visual quality through color correction and grading to achieve consistent, appealing aesthetics (Video Color Grading).

Experience or interest in creating straightforward motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to support storytelling (Motion Graphics).

Basic graphic design abilities for thumbnails, social media visuals, and on-screen elements (Graphics).

Familiarity with common editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar), and eagerness to learn new software.

Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote, volunteer setting.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with sensitivity to issues related to mental health, inclusion, and marginalized communities.
