Role Description The Video Data Collection Participant role involves recording short video clips according to given instructions and guidelines to support the development and improvement of educational and technology products. Participants will follow scenario-based prompts, position their device and environment as directed, and ensure videos meet specified quality, lighting, and framing requirements. They will upload or submit videos through designated platforms, accurately label or tag recordings, and maintain confidentiality and data privacy standards.

This is a remote role,



allowing participants to complete tasks from their own location using a compatible smartphone or device, on a flexible schedule as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully and complete video tasks as specified.
- Access to a contemporary smartphone or device with a good camera, stable internet connection, and sufficient storage.
- Comfort with using mobile apps and basic troubleshooting for recording and uploading videos.
- Attention to detail regarding video quality, sound, lighting, and framing.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines and submitting tasks on time.
- Willingness to provide consent for data collection and adhere to privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
- Basic English communication skills for understanding prompts and instructions.
- Prior experience in data collection, user testing, or participating in research studies is an advantage but not required.
