Role Description The Vice Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at the Hillwoods Academy campus in Gandhinagar,Gujarat . This position supports the Principal in overseeing academic programs, curriculum implementation, and adherence to C.B.S.E. standards, while ensuring a positive and disciplined learning environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising faculty, guiding lesson planning and assessment practices, monitoring student performance, and coordinating school events and activities.

The Vice

Principal also engages with parents and guardians, contributes to policy development, leads staff meetings and professional development initiatives, and ensures compliance with school guidelines and regulatory requirements. The role requires active participation in strategic planning and continuous improvement of teaching–learning processes.

Qualifications





- Solid academic leadership skills, including experience in curriculum planning, classroom supervision, and assessment oversight.
- Proficiency in school administration and operations, such as timetable management, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance (preferably with C.B.S.E. frameworks).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with staff, students, and parents, and to resolve conflicts constructively.
- Demonstrated skills in mentoring and developing teachers, organizing training programs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to promote student welfare and discipline through fair, consistent, and learner-centered approaches.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Education or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time constraints.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in the role of Headmistress or Vice Principal in a CBSE-affiliated school, with strong leadership, academic planning, and school administration skills.
