Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Vertical Head – Interior Design (ID) to lead and drive the growth of the Interior Design vertical.

The role will have end-to-end responsibility for business development, client relationship management, revenue generation, key account management, project conversion, and market expansion within the ID segment.

The ideal candidate should have strong relationships with Interior Designers, Architects, Design Studios, Consultants, and key decision-makers, along with proven experience in driving sales and managing high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vertical Growth & Business Development

- Own the overall growth and business performance of the Interior Design vertical.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and business targets.
- Identify current clients, projects, markets, and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Drive project specifications and convert opportunities into business.

2. Client & Key Account Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Interior Designers, Architects, Design Firms, Consultants, and key accounts.
- Manage high-value client relationships and decision-makers.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.

3. Sales & Project Conversion

- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Track upcoming projects and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Drive project conversion and revenue realization.




- Coordinate with Design, Production, Sales, and Operations teams for smooth execution.
- Resolve client concerns and ensure effective communication throughout the project.

4. Team Leadership

- Lead, guide, and monitor the ID sales/business development team.
- Set targets and track individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews.
- Coach the team on client management, business development, and conversion.

5. Market Development

- Develop strong networks within the Interior Design and Architecture community.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging market segments.
- Build relationships with key design studios, architects, and consultants.

Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or Client Relationship Management.
- Experience in Interior Design, Decorative Lighting, Architectural Lighting, Furniture, Building Materials, Luxury Interiors, or allied industries preferred.
- Strong network of Interior Designers, Architects, Design Studios, Consultants, and decision-makers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to take ownership of a business vertical and drive results independently.
