About FinLaxmi We're building a retirement planner that helps everyday Indians figure out one scary question: "Will I have enough money when I stop working?" — in under 60 seconds, on their phone, without jargon.

Why this role is different You won't be pushing pixels in a Figma cave. Talking to real users will be ~40% of your job. If you light up when someone struggles with your design (because now you can fix it), keep reading. What you'll actually do

Talk to users every week. 1:1 usability tests, WhatsApp follow-ups, calls with 35-year-olds who've never heard the words "equity allocation". You'll hear the confusion, then design it out.

Design end-to-end flows in Figma — the planner form, the result screen, all the nudges in between.

Use Claude Code daily to prototype interactions, build live mocks,



and ship small front-end fixes. Move 5x faster than the "designer-throws-mocks-over-the-wall" model.

Turn user pain into insight into wireframe into a live fix — in days, not quarters.

Run lightweight research: 5-user tests, drop-off funnels, before/after comparisons.

What we're looking for

You can ship. Degrees, college tier, GPA — we genuinely don't care. Show us what you've made.

You love talking to strangers. If user interviews feel like therapy for you, perfect.

A taste for calm, trustworthy fintech aesthetics.

Bonus: any exposure to personal finance, SIPs, mutual funds, or how Indian middle-class families think about money.
