Are you a US Sales & Use Tax specialist looking for your next challenge? We're growing our team in Ahmedabad and looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Sales Tax Expert to join us full-time.

What you'll do

Manage end-to-end US multi-state Sales & Use Tax compliance (filing, reconciliation, nexus analysis)

Prepare and review sales tax returns across multiple jurisdictions

Monitor changing state/local tax laws and assess business impact

Support tax audits and respond to notices from state tax authorities

Work with tools like Avalara, Vertex, or TaxJar (or similar)

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on tax provisions and reporting

Identify process improvements and automation opportunities in tax compliance

What we're looking for

3+ years of hands-on experience in US Sales & Use Tax (mid-level to senior candidates welcome)

Strong understanding of multi-state nexus rules and taxability concepts

Experience with sales tax software (Avalara, Vertex, TaxJar, or similar)

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/EA a plus)

Comfortable working US hours overlap as needed
