Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Vadodara. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, such as maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and auditing processes. They will work closely with senior accountants and finance teams to support the financial operations of the organization.

Qualifications

- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Solid grasp of cash flow management and accounting principles
- Solid written and spoken English skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team objectives
- Experience in accounting
- A foundational understanding of financial analysis and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or a similar role is preferred.





Responsibilities

- Process accounts payable, including invoice entry and payment facilitation.
- Reconcile subsidiary accounts and uphold the integrity of financial records.
- Enhance systems for tracking financial transactions and managing the chart of accounts.
- Ensure general ledger accuracy, prepare trial balances, and reconcile entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Organize and maintain historical financial records.
- Generate financial reports by gathering and analyzing critical data.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time.
- Execute bank reconciliations to compare internal records with bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
