Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong US Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, manage client relationships, and oversee a team supporting US-based CPA firms and their clients. The ideal candidate should combine strong US accounting expertise with leadership, client-management, technology, and AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end US accounting and bookkeeping operations for US CPA firms and their clients.
- Manage, mentor, and review a team of accountants and bookkeepers while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and other accounting deliverables.
- Act as a key client contact, understand requirements, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Drive process improvement, automation, AI adoption, and effective use of accounting technology.




- Handle escalations and collaborate with US clients and internal leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Must Have

- CA, CPA, or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in US accounting, preferably with US CPA firms or US Accounting clients.
- Proven experience with US CPA firms or US accounting clients, including solid US GAAP knowledge.
- Mandatory hands-on QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience with strong knowledge of accounting, reporting,

reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Proven client handling, team management, and leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills and a highly technical mindset with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- AI-savvy, with the ability to use AI and automation to improve accounting processes and productivity.

Good to Have

- Experience with Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Ramp, Dext, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting multiple industries and working with accounting automation, AI tools, or offshore/remote delivery teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement capabilities.
