Role Description This full-time Unqork Developer role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility.

The Unqork

Developer will design, configure, and maintain low-code applications on the Unqork platform to support core insurance and business processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, building workflows and integrations, performing unit and integration testing, and ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.



The role also involves collaborating closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, and QA professionals, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing enhancements and optimizations. The developer will participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and contribute to best practices and standards for Unqork development within the organization.

Qualifications

- Experience with Unqork platform development, including designing workflows, configuring modules, and building integrations.
- Strong background in software development or low-code platforms (e.g., APIs, JSON, RESTful services, microservices) and modern application architectures.
- Knowledge of insurance domain concepts (property & casualty, commercial lines, policy, claims, underwriting) or willingness to quickly learn industry fundamentals.
- Proficiency in requirements analysis, solution design, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with testing practices (unit, integration, regression) and debugging in production and non-production environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborating with distributed teams, and managing time and priorities independently.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on clarity and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
