Role Summary

- Experienced Test Automation Engineer with robust expertise in OpenText UFT (formerly Micro Focus UFT/QTP) responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automation solutions across functional, regression, and end-to-end testing initiatives within an Agile delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute across all phases of the testing lifecycle including requirement analysis, test design, automation development, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using UFT/QTP and VBScript.
- Design and maintain scalable, reusable and robust automation frameworks.
- Drive in-sprint automation, regression automation, and release validation testing.
- Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and improve script reliability and maintainability.
- Manage regression suites and identify optimal test coverage for release cycles.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners,



and QA teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute from a quality engineering perspective.
- Support test estimation, planning, execution tracking, and reporting activities.
- Drive automation adoption and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
