About the role

Gagan Travels is looking for a proactive, social media-savvy Sales & Content Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role combining client acquisition, lead management, and content creation for our social media channels. You'll work closely with the owner to attract new car rental clients, respond to enquiries, and help create engaging content that showcases our fleet and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Lead Management

- Handle inbound leads via phone calls, WhatsApp, and Instagram/Facebook DMs
- Respond promptly to enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings
- Make outbound calls to potential clients, referrals, and past customers
- Follow up consistently with leads until closure
- Maintain a simple tracker/CRM of lead status and follow-ups
- Build relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and group travel organisers

Content Creation





- Assist in shooting reels and videos on a smartphone (framing, stability, basic direction)
- Research and suggest trending audio, formats, and content ideas relevant to travel
- Perform basic video editing using apps like CapCut or InShot
- Help plan and maintain a simple content calendar
- Post content and respond to comments/DMs on social platforms

REQUIRMENTS

Valuable communication skills in Hindi, Punjabi, and English

Comfortable talking to clients over the phone and in person

Active user of Instagram/YouTube with an understanding of current trends

Basic knowledge of smartphone videography and editing apps

Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks

Prior experience in travel/tourism sales is a plus but not mandatory

Should be based in or willing to commute to Chandigarh
