Title Senior Manager – Transport Solutions & Consultancy Business unit Work Dynamics – Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)
Reporting to Senior Director – Transport Solutions (Pan India)
Key stakeholders Transport Solutions Lead, FM Advisory & Solutions teams, Business Development / Sales teams, Account Managers, Client transport SPOCs, Transport vendors and OEM/technology partners

Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport Consultancy & Advisory Delivery
- Undertake transport consultancy assignments end-to-end, including diagnostics, transport audits, route and occupancy analysis, vendor and cost benchmarking, policy and process reviews, and operating model assessments.
- Conduct site visits, data collection, stakeholder interviews and workshops as part of consultancy and assessment engagements.
- Analyse transport data (trip sheets, routing, occupancy, billing, compliance records) to identify cost optimisation, harmonisation and service improvement opportunities.
- Draft structured reports, findings and recommendations for audits and assessments conducted, including executive summaries, savings quantification, implementation roadmaps and risk flags.
- Track closure of audit findings and support clients/accounts in implementing agreed recommendations.
- Solutions, Sales & RFP Support
- Assist Solution Leads in preparing sales pitches, capability decks and proposals for Transport Consultancy opportunities and Transport Operations RFPs/RFIs.
- Support solution development: scope definition, staffing/effort estimates, commercial inputs, savings simulations, case studies and differentiators.
- Prepare client-ready collateral (presentations, one-pagers, response documents) and coordinate inputs from operations, pricing and subject-matter experts within bid timelines.
- Participate in client pitch meetings, site walkthroughs and due diligence visits alongside Solution Leads.
- Maintain a repository of proposals, benchmarks, templates and win/loss learnings to improve future bids.
- Transport Operations & Account Support
- Provide strategic oversight of site-level transport operations as assigned, acting as escalation point for transport matters at designated facilities.
- Maintain and update Vendor Performance Scorecards quarterly; prepare and maintain vendor performance reports.
- Conduct monthly meetings with vendor management teams and client SPOCs; circulate minutes to senior management and ensure closure of action points.
- Maintain the vendor contract tracker and coordinate with client teams on renewals and revised addendums.
- Ensure adherence to all client security guidelines, particularly safety protocols for female employees; escalate deviations through proper channels.
- Prepare transport plans for BCM situations and actively participate in client BCM planning meetings.
- Work closely with the billing team on invoice payments and monthly accruals; ensure accuracy of transport costing data and highlight variances to management.
- Ensure weekly/monthly MIS on operational summary and costs is shared with senior management on time; contribute to the Monthly Management Report (MMR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
- Assist during audit processes, provide audit reports with proper justification, and ensure on-time closure of audit findings.
- Ensure statutory compliance, checklists and reports are adhered to at all times, in line with JLL and client-site regulations.
- Process, People & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and document transport processes and procedures that reduce cost and improve client satisfaction, benchmarked to industry standards.
- Create initiatives and new projects to minimise cost of operations and improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- In consultation with the Transport Lead / Account Manager, support goal setting, performance reviews, training plans and capability development for transport teams and drivers.
- Ensure transport policies, processes and procedures are adhered to by all transport staff; demonstrate leadership and responsiveness within the team.
- Engage regularly with employees and client representatives to understand issues and requirements, and build strong client relationships.
Performance objectives The role is a hybrid of transport consultancy delivery,
solutioning/sales support and transport operations oversight, supporting the Senior Director – Transport Solutions in growing and delivering the Transport Solutions practice.
- Deliver consultancy assignments and audits on time, with high-quality, client-ready reports and recommendations that lead to measurable cost or service outcomes.
- Support winning of Transport Consultancy and Transport Operations mandates through timely, high-quality pitch, proposal and RFP contributions.
- Provide an efficient and cost-effective transport network for assigned sites; deliver on cost, compliance and transport capacity commitments.
- Achieve agreed KPIs and SLA targets and sustain high client and employee satisfaction; assist the Transport Lead in implementing current initiatives and innovations.
Key performance measures
- Quality, timeliness and client acceptance of consultancy reports, audit findings and recommendations.
- Contribution to pursuit outcomes: proposals/RFPs supported, win rate, turnaround time and quality of solution collateral.
- Identified and realised savings/process improvements from consultancy and audit engagements.
- Client satisfaction (CSAT) and employee satisfaction scores for assigned operations.
- KPI/SLA achievement, MIS accuracy and timeliness, statutory compliance and on-time closure of audit findings.
Key Skills Qualification (E): Graduate; MBA / postgraduate qualification in Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred Overall experience: 10-12 years
Industry experience: Minimum 5 years in employee transport / transport & logistics; exposure to transport consultancy, audits or solutioning preferred
