Role Description The Transport Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, responsible for overseeing daily transport and delivery operations. This role includes planning delivery routes, allocating vehicles and drivers, and monitoring schedules to ensure timely and efficient two-person home deliveries.

The Transport

Coordinator will liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to resolve operational issues, handle delivery exceptions, and support a smooth customer experience.



The position involves maintaining accurate transport records, tracking performance KPIs, and ensuring compliance with safety and transport regulations. The coordinator will also support continuous process improvements, communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Operations Management and Transportation Management skills to plan routes, allocate resources, and manage daily delivery activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with drivers, internal teams, and customers, and to handle issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Experience in logistics, home delivery, or transport coordination, along with knowledge of safety and compliance standards, is beneficial.
- Proficiency with transport management systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mohali district, operate in a fast-paced environment, and make sound decisions under time pressure is essential.
