About Fabric Pandit

Fabric Pandit is a fast-growing fabric and fashion company specializing in high-quality fabrics for designers, boutiques, and garment manufacturers. We are looking for a Textile Engineer who can ensure fabric quality, support fabric development, coordinate with suppliers, and help optimize textile processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and inspect fabrics received from mills and vendors.
- Conduct fabric quality checks including GSM, shrinkage, color fastness, and defect analysis.
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers and manufacturing units to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor fabric production and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in fabric sourcing, vendor evaluation, and fabric development activities.
- Analyze fabric defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain fabric testing reports and quality documentation.
- Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams.
- Visit textile mills and vendors when required.
- Stay updated with fabric trends, textile innovations, and industry standards.





Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of woven, knitted, and blended fabrics.
- Understanding of textile manufacturing processes, weaving, dyeing, and finishing.
- Knowledge of fabric testing methods and quality standards.
- Ability to identify fabric defects and perform root cause analysis.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Textile Engineering / Textile Technology.

•1–5 years of experience in textile manufacturing, quality control, fabric development, or production.
- Freshers with strong academic backgrounds and internships may also be considered.
