Role Description The Tekla Modeler role is a full time, on-site position based in Pune City.

The Tekla

Modeler will create accurate 3D structural models in Tekla Structures for industrial plants, pressure vessel supports, steel structures, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and connection details, as well as generating bills of materials and ensuring models comply with relevant design standards and project requirements.



The role involves close collaboration with design engineers, project managers, and other discipline teams to resolve clashes, coordinate interfaces, and incorporate design changes in a timely manner.

The Tekla

Modeler will also maintain organized project documentation, support quality checks, and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling and detailing practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tekla Structures (3D modeling, detailing, and drawing extraction) and a solid understanding of structural steel and connection detailing.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and project specifications, with attention to dimensional accuracy and constructability.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic structural engineering concepts, familiarity with industry codes and standards, and awareness of industrial plant layouts or equipment supports.
- Candidates should possess skills in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and general proficiency with office productivity software for documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate design changes.
- Candidates should possess solid organizational skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-driven environment.
- A diploma or degree in Civil, Structural or a related engineering discipline is preferred;
