Role Description This full-time, on-site Technical Service Engineer role is based in Chennai and focuses on supporting Atlantium’s water disinfection systems in the field.

The Technical Service

Engineer will install, commission, and maintain HOD™ UV systems, perform routine and corrective maintenance, and conduct system diagnostics to ensure optimal performance. The role involves handling customer service requests, providing technical support, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical,



and control-related issues on-site and remotely.

The Technical Service

Engineer will prepare service reports, maintain documentation, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to resolve complex problems and improve system reliability. The role also includes training customer personnel on system operation, safety procedures, and basic maintenance practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Services and Technical Support skills, with experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial or water treatment equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills, including the ability to diagnose system issues, interpret technical data, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers, write concise service reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field, and experience in UV systems, water treatment, or industrial automation.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, understanding of safety standards, willingness to travel for site visits, and the ability to work independently in field environments.
