Project Management

- 4–8 years of experience in

Project Management / Technical Project Management

.

- Proven experience delivering technology projects on time and within scope

.

- Robust experience in project planning, execution, governance, dependency management and delivery tracking.

- Strong risk, issue and change management capabilities.

- Experience working across multiple technical teams and parallel workstreams.

Cloud &

- Application Modernisation

- Hands-on project delivery experience in

Cloud Migration, Application Modernisation or Platform Modernisation initiatives.

- Good understanding of modernising on-premises / VM-based applications

.

- Experience with application migration, containerisation and modern deployment architectures.

- Understanding of

Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar container platforms

.

- Good understanding of cloud platforms such as

AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred.

DevOps

- Good understanding of

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

.

- Experience coordinating DevOps pipeline modernisation or migration.

- Understanding of tools such as

Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform or equivalent is preferred.

- Ability to work effectively with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams.

Technical Background

- Working knowledge of

Java or Python

.

- Understanding of application architecture, APIs, databases and deployment processes.





- Good understanding of containerisation and cloud-native technologies

.

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand technical dependencies and constraints.

Stakeholder Management

- Strong experience managing senior leadership and client stakeholders

.

- Ability to drive decisions asynchronously and maintain momentum across distributed teams.

- Comfortable following up on pending actions and non-responses.

- Ability to escalate issues appropriately without negatively impacting stakeholder relationships.

- Strong communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.

Documentation &

- Communication The candidate should be able to produce clear, concise and structured documentation

, including:

- Project status reports

- Executive dashboards

- RAID logs

- Blocker and dependency trackers

- Action/decision logs

- ADR summaries

- Project plans and milestone trackers

- Acceptance packs

- Steering committee updates

Documentation should be senior-stakeholder friendly, concise and easy to understand within a few minutes
